A "Hiding and Writing" workshop was held in Amman, Jordan, 24 January to 2 February 2011 with members of the GRACE-MENA research teams. The workshop was designed for the research teams' chapters to solidify and start speaking to one another. The workshop was attended by fourteen researchers from Jordan, Palestine, Yemen, Egypt, Tunisia, and Sudan and yielded 14 paragraphs for the forthcoming book that will result from their, and the GRACE-Africa teams' GRACE 2 research projects.

Research workshop held in Amman: Training our minds to be conscious of our being and doing On March 24th, 2011
Dr. Arwa Oweis conducted a workshop on her experience with qualitative research with a group of 18 nursing faculty members at Al-Zaytoona University, a private university in Amman, Jordan. During the 5 hour workshop, Dr. Oweis gave a quick overview about qualitative research and talked about her experience with GRACE research as an example of a qualitative research experience. The participants enjoyed the exercises and indicated that they were able to think about their being and doing and will be thinking about how to manage the different barriers they experience to achieve their dreams to be competent qualitative researchers.
